PAPA
NIK , WORLD RHYTHMS AND INSTRUMENTS
Papa Nick is a well-recognized percussionist,
composer, music teacher and architect. By
using a variety of instruments and rhythms
from all parts of the world, the students
will learn to play to a given theme and
to develop instrumental, vocal and improvisation
skills.
Instrument to be used are available but
personal ones may be used also.
PAPA
NIK, MULTICULTURAL INTERACTION IN MUSIC
Combination of ethno-music (Eskimo, Australian,
Aborigines, Polynesian…) and contemporary
influence (jazz, classical, electronic…).
Based on configuration of traditional instruments,
production of original ones.
Students will be stimulated to develop and
express own skills, talent and creativity
by through joint artistic experimentation.
UGO
TANASAVEGA and MATHIAS, EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC
Ugo is a folk musician and pedagogies from
South Peru. Past 11 years he has been touring
Europe and working with schools for special
music based education Rudolph Steiner and
Valdor. He plays zamponia, kena, charango,
guitar and various percussion instruments.
Matias is a composer and musician from Argentina.
He plays the piano ,mandoneon and specializes
in tango, different modern and folk music
as well as combinations.
Available instruments, which will be used
during the course, are: different woodwinds
from Los Andes, guitar, charongo (little
guitar from Los Andes), keyboards and different
percussion instruments.
The course involves a basic instrument technique
introduction, discrimination of sound and
rhythm characteristics and possibilities
leading to group music making. By stimulating
awareness of tonal and not necessarily tonal
as well as rhythmical configurations and
emotional reactions to them, the group will
be jointly creating authentic music (from
our soul)
ALBERTO
DIAS, TAM – TAM
African– rhythm percussion course
Alberto Dias is a musician from Guinea Bissau,
who has learned to play percussion instruments
from a very early age as a part of his African
upbringing. Founder and member of Jovens
De Belem Band and Tuada De Pubis Band. He
has been teaching, performing and composing
for the past 20 years. He has performed
in Belgrade with Jap Institute and Baga
Baga Band and is the founder of So Sabi
band, which he is currently playing with.
The course will include introduction to
basic percussion playing techniques using
African rhythms: Ksunde, Aumbe, Merenge,
Kabas and combinations.
During the course students will be learning
various vocal techniques, African songs
and African dances.

Violeta
Purhmajer (Venurati) Bharatanatyam dance
Violeta is a teacher and performer of South
Indian traditional dance. She studied dancing
at the Indian school Tri Kala Sangam with
the dance guru Platap Najaran.
The name Bharatanatyam originates from Bha:
Bhava meaning emotion or devotion, raga:
Raga- melody, ta: talam – rhythm and natyam
– dance. It originates from Shiva Nata Raja
and is being practiced during the last 4
centuries. The fragments of this dance can
be seen on walls of many temples.
This dance is very precise, dynamic, meditation,
and full of emotional expression.
When it is performed correctly, the dancer
can experience total transformation, spiritual
enlighten and self-awareness.
The students will have the pleasure to learn
this beautiful dance in its original form.
Marija
Stublincevic, Flamenco and Spanish national
dances
Marija is an ethno-musicologist, performer
and teacher of Spanish folk dances .
The course includes introduction to folk
dances which are performed to recognizable
melodies Passo Doble, Sevillane and others,
and basic rhythm and movements of flamenco.
Participants will learn the playing techniques
of castanets (traditional dancing instrument)
and the technique of zapateado (stamping).
As flamenco is a specific dance, most importantly
a way of living, participants will be introduced
to the spirit of Spain and will be inspired
to develop personal potentials and suppressed
emotions.
The dancers will explore all the important
flamenco elements, difference between various
techniques rhythms and movement coordination
in Spanish dances as well as their combinations.
Stoilkovic
Dragan , Samba, Rumba, Cha Cha, Jive, Mambo,
Merenge, Salsa, Vienna Waltz, English waltz,
tango, fox-trot, rock and roll
Dragan is a dancer and dance instructor
with a vast teaching and performing. experience
in Slovenia and Belgrade.
Course involves basic steps and techniques
of all dances which will be advanced as
the course developes. This is an enjoyable
and fun dancing course.

Krakovic, Show dance
Born
in Austria, a professional dancer, participant
in world and European festivals and championships,
performer in Broadway shows, outstanding
choreographer and dance tutor.
Show dance is a combination of acrobatics,
acrobatic rock and roll, jazz ballet, Latin
and modern dances During the course, students
will be learning basic techniques and exploring
various combination possibilities as well
as creating original and attractive choreographies.
